Flynn Park is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, technology, or environment. We aim to ensure that our website is inclusive and usable for all visitors.

What We’ve Done

We have taken a range of steps to ensure our content is accessible:

Semantic HTML is used throughout to support assistive technologies such as screen readers.
All images and non-text content include meaningful alternative text.
All interactive elements (links, buttons, and form controls) are operable using a keyboard alone.
Headings are structured in a logical and hierarchical order.
Colour contrast meets or exceeds minimum requirements for readability.
Form fields include accessible labels, instructions, and error messaging where applicable.
No content flashes in a way that could cause seizures or physical discomfort.
The website is regularly monitored using a combination of manual checks and automated accessibility tools.

Non-accessible Content

The content listed below is not fully accessible for the following reasons:

Booking System Overlay

The booking system used on this website opens within a modal / overlay that slides in from the side of the page. This is the standard integration method provided by the third-party booking platform.

When a “Book” button is selected, the overlay becomes visible; however, keyboard and screen reader users may need to continue navigating through the page content in order to reach and place focus on the booking overlay. Once focused, the booking system itself can be used as intended.

We continue to monitor this behaviour and will review improvements if enhanced accessibility options become available from the booking system provider.

Note: Skip to Content Link

A “Skip to content” link is provided at the top of the page to improve keyboard navigation for screen reader and keyboard users. This allows users to bypass repeated navigation and move directly to the main content.

Some automated accessibility tools may flag this element as being outside of a landmark region. This is expected and intentional, as placing the skip link before the main landmarks ensures it is encountered first by assistive technologies. No accessibility issues related to this element were identified during user testing.
